Lextran serves people and the community with mobility solutions. Lextran’s fleet includes compressed natural gas, battery-electric, hybridelectric, and diesel buses. Lextran operates 23 fixed routes, a door-to-door paratransit service and a vanpool/ridesharing program. Regular bus fare is $1.00, and there are a variety of reduced fares and pass programs available to individuals who qualify. As a student at the University of Kentucky, you will be able to ride all Lextran busses for free! All buses are equipped with bike racks and are wheelchair accessible
